40 mm Fan Solder Fume Extractor
A bench-top fume extractor housing for any 40 x 40 x 10 mm fan — the fan bolts to the 60°-tilted face on its standard 32 mm M3 pattern (3.4 mm clearance holes with counterbores so the heads sit flush), and a 42 mm square of activated-carbon filter sheet press-fits into the 41.5 x 41.5 x 4 mm pocket in front of a ribbed finger-guard throat. Footprint 52 x 64 mm, 50 mm tall, with two M4 holes in the weighted base for bolting it to the bench and an open rear duct so exhaust clears the work.
