This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and who we share it with when you use cheap3dprinting.com. We try to collect only what we need to print your part and run the service.

Information you give us
We collect the information needed to create your account, generate or print your model, and get it to your door.
- Account detailsYour email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash — we never see your actual password).
- Uploads & designsThe 3D model files you upload (STL/OBJ and any .mtl or texture files) and the models our AI designer generates for you.
- AI chat contentThe prompts you type and any reference images you attach in the AI designer, plus the rendered results.
- Order & shipping detailsYour shipping name, address, and ZIP code, and the contents and status of your orders.
- Payment detailsCard payments are handled by Stripe's hosted checkout. We receive a confirmation and limited details (such as the card brand and last four digits) — your full card number never touches our servers.
- Usage dataStandard technical data such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and analytics.
Why we collect it

- To power the AI designerYour prompts and reference images are sent to our AI provider to draft and refine printable models.

Service providers
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers we need to run the service, and only the data they need to do their job:
- StripePayment processing and checkout.
- USPSShipping rates and delivery within the United States.
- MailgunSending transactional email (order and account messages).
- Our AI provider (OpenAI / Anthropic)Processing AI designer prompts and reference images to generate models.
- DigitalOceanHosting, the database, and file storage for your uploads and generated models.
- GoogleWebsite analytics and ad measurement.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the safety of others.
What you share with AI
When you use the AI designer, the text you type and any images you upload are sent to a third-party AI provider to produce your model. Please don't include confidential, sensitive, or personal information in your prompts or reference images that you wouldn't want processed by an outside service.
Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site, and analytics cookies (Google) to understand how the site is used and to measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without the essential ones.
Keeping and removing your data
We keep your account, designs, and order history while your account is active and for as long as we need them for the purposes above, including legal and accounting requirements. You can:
- Access and updateView and edit your account details when you're signed in.
- Request a copy or deletionEmail us to request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and uploads, subject to records we're required to retain.
- Opt out of marketingTransactional emails are part of the service, but you can opt out of any non-essential messages.
How we protect it
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and Stripe-hosted card entry so card numbers never reach our servers. No online service can be 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe. Our service isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced by email or on the site.
