Set-Screw Appliance Control Knob
Replacement control knob for a washer, dryer, range or toaster oven whose original plastic shank has cracked and stopped gripping the timer shaft — 48 mm diameter, 22 mm deep, with a 6.8 mm bore that slips over 1/4 in (6.35 mm) and 6 mm round or D-shaped shafts. A radial M3 brass heat-set insert (4.0 mm bore) takes an M3 x 10 set screw that clamps onto the shaft flat, so one knob body covers a family of shafts instead of a $40-120 timer assembly; 14 finger flutes and a moulded pointer fin read the dial position.
