In-Drawer Knife Blade Rack
A 170 x 85 x 24 mm two-comb ladder rack that sits in a kitchen drawer and holds seven knives blade-down and separated, so edges stop banging into each other and you stop fishing blind for a handle. Slots are on a 22 mm pitch — four at 5.5 mm for chef, santoku, bread and cleaver blades, three at 3.5 mm for paring, boning and utility — each with a 17 mm wide 45 degree funnel mouth for one-handed drop-in, a 6 mm floor under the edge, and an 80 mm span between combs so the knife does not tip. Two 4.5 mm M4 clearance holes in the side rails let you screw it down to the drawer base; needs about 75 mm of drawer clearance above the floor.
