2x4 Stud Saddle Marker Caddy
A four-cell bin that sits on the front edge of an exposed 2x4 stud in a garage or shed and holds pencils, markers, a utility knife and other small layout tools. The saddle opening is 39.5 mm wide, sized for the 38 mm (1.5 in) face of a standard 2x4. You fix it with #8 wood screws, either through two 5 mm side holes or one hole in the back wall. The bin is 80 x 46 x 70 mm, with a 76 x 18 mm rear slot and three front cells.
