3-1/2 in Deck Baluster Spacing Gauge
This is a hook-on spacer block for building deck railings. It is exactly 89 mm (3-1/2 in) wide, so every gap comes out the same and stays under the common 4 in sphere rule. The 25 mm lip hooks over the top of the rail, so the block hangs between face-mounted balusters while you screw the next one in. It is a ribbed open frame (89 x 110 x 20 mm body) with a finger hole for pulling it back out.
