Drawing Tablet Stylus Stand With Nib Trench
A 70 mm round desk stand for a drawing-tablet stylus. It holds the pen nib-down at 15° in a 15.2 mm bore, which takes barrels from about 10 to 14 mm. A conical seat carries the pen's weight on the tapered barrel and leaves the nib hanging in a 5.2 mm relief well, so the tip never bottoms out or flattens. A 3 x 30 mm trench in the front pad holds spare nibs upright.
