Lap Desk Fold-Down Leg Hinge For 1/2 in PVC
A screw-on clevis hinge for building a fold-flat lap desk or bed tray with legs cut from 1/2 in schedule 40 PVC (21.3 mm OD). It mounts with four #8 screws through 4.6 mm holes. The 22.3 mm gap between the cheeks takes the pipe, which pivots on an M5 × 40 bolt (5.5 mm bore) into a captured nut pocket. A gusseted stop wall holds the leg square to the board, and the leg folds flat the other way. The 50 × 70 mm base is 30 mm tall.
