Picture Hanging Hook-And-Mark Transfer Tool
This is a 160 x 20 x 12 mm marking stick for hanging pictures. Catch the frame's wire or D-ring on the hook seat, hold the frame against the wall where you want it, then press. An M3 screw driven into a 2.6 mm self-tap bore sits directly behind the seat, and its tip scratches a mark exactly where the nail goes. No measuring, and no holes in the wrong place. The tool prints on its side, so the frame's weight loads the hook in the XY plane instead of across the layer lines. The 8 mm wide seat takes picture wire, D-rings and sawtooth hangers.
