Surface-Mount Sliding Patio Door Hook Latch
This print-in-place gravity hook latch replaces a discontinued mortise latch on an older aluminium patio or screen slider. It screws onto the face of the door with no mortise needed. A 77 mm hook turns on a 6 mm pin captured under a cone cap. The 45° ramp on its nose rides over a 7 mm keeper post and drops in to catch it, and the keeper comes off the same print on snap-off tabs. All four mounting holes are 4.5 mm with countersinks for #8 flat-head screws (or M4), and the whole print is 127 mm long.
