Sliding Fence Marking Gauge
A print-in-place woodworking marking gauge: a 150 mm trapezoidal (dovetail) beam with a sliding fence captured around it, locked by an M4 screw into a heat-set insert (5.5 mm bore, 8 mm deep) that clamps down on the beam. Fence is 44 x 22 x 24 mm and sets the scribe distance from 22 to 140 mm; an M3 grub or pointed screw self-taps into the 2.6 mm hole at the beam end to act as the pin, and a 90 degree V-notch in the fence face lets the same gauge ride round stock to scribe a dowel or pipe centerline.
