Round Rod Cross-Drill V-Jig
A 70 x 26 x 34 mm V-block jig that holds 6–14 mm round stock (8 mm smooth rod, dowels, tubing, 1/4"–1/2" bar) and guides a hand or press drill straight through its centreline — the 90° internal vee self-centres any diameter in Y, so the bit can't walk off the crown. Three guide bores (3.4 / 4.5 / 5.5 mm, 10 mm deep) take 3, 4 and 5 mm bits, two M4 heat-set set screws clamp the rod, and a stepped relief slot under the vee lets the bit break through without drilling the jig. Flat parallel sides let it sit in a bench vice.
