1:6 And 1:8 Dovetail Marking Gauge
A two-ratio dovetail marker. A 10 x 14 mm centre fence hooks over the board edge, and one of two trapezoid blades lies flat on the face. The 1:6 blade suits softwood and the 1:8 blade suits hardwood; both edges of each blade are at that ratio, so you can mark tails leaning either way without flipping the gauge. It measures 90 x 120 mm overall, the blades are 3 mm thick and 80 mm wide at the fence, and each blade has a 6 mm hang hole.
