2x4 Firewood Rack Corner Bracket
This is an L-shaped corner gusset for a DIY firewood rack. It holds a vertical 2x4 upright square on a horizontal 2x4 base rail. Both arms are channels 90 mm wide on the inside, which fits real 38 x 89 mm (1.5 x 3.5 in) lumber. The 22 mm side flanges grip the edges of both boards. Ten 5.5 mm holes take #8/#10 pan-head wood screws or 5 mm lag screws. The part measures 158 x 158 x 25 mm, so it can stand in for the $10 steel brackets you would otherwise need eight or more of. Open windows let rain drain out.
