6/8 mm Hood Prop Rod Snap Clip
A replacement retaining clip for a car hood prop rod. It screws flat to the hood inner panel or radiator support with three M4 or #8 screws (4.5 mm holes, 29 mm apart) and has snap-in jaws for 6 mm and 8 mm rods. The bores are 6.3 and 8.3 mm with a mouth 1 mm narrower than the rod and a flared lead-in. The body is 70 x 14 mm and fixes the rattling, loose prop rod you get after the original clip breaks.
