608 Leadscrew Idler End Block

End block for a DIY linear axis: holds a press-fit 608 bearing (22.05 mm seat) to support the free end of a T8 leadscrew, and clamps two 8 mm guide rods 60 mm apart with M3 heat-set inserts. The 96 x 34 mm foot bolts down through 5.6 mm M5 clearance holes, and the block prints with the bearing face on the bed, no supports needed.
