8 mm Rod Split Cross Clamp Block

A 24 x 24 x 40 mm clamp block that holds two 8 mm smooth rods at 90° to each other. Each 8.3 mm bore has its own split jaw, closed by two M3 x 25 bolts sitting in 6.2 mm counterbores, with 5.5 mm captive nut pockets on the far side. It lets you build adjustable sensor booms, camera arms and rod-frame test rigs without drilling or gluing: loosen two bolts to slide or rotate either rod, then lock it again.
