Barbed Screen Door Corner Key

This is an L-shaped internal corner key that rejoins the mitred aluminium rails of a screen door or window screen frame after the original key breaks. Each leg is 55 mm long, 15 mm wide and 5.6 mm thick. Angled flex barbs on the leg edges grip hollow channels 15.5–17.5 mm wide, and a 2.6 mm pilot hole in each leg takes a #6 or M3 self-tapping screw driven through the rail to lock it. Measure your channel before ordering. If it is shallower than 5.6 mm, sand the key's flat faces down until it fits.
