Boat Trailer 2x4 Bunk End Cap
A cap that slides over the rear end of a carpeted 2x4 boat-trailer bunk, so the hull slides onto a smooth chamfered nose instead of catching on frayed carpet and the cut lumber end. The pocket is 100 x 49 x 36 mm. Crush ribs grip a 38 x 89 mm board wrapped in roughly 4–5.5 mm of carpet, and there are three drain slots so water doesn't sit against the wood. Fix it with #8 pan-head screws through four 4.6 mm side holes, none of which face the hull.
