Bolt-On Bat Wing Frame
This open bat-wing skeleton is part of the 'SG90 Scotch-Yoke Flapping Wing Rig' kit, and you print two. It measures about 150 x 87 mm and is 3 mm thick. The 30 x 14 x 4 mm root pad bolts to the Shoulder Wing Root Rocker with two M3x8 screws into the rocker's heat-set inserts, through 3.4 mm holes 15 mm apart. From the pad, a 6 mm leading-edge spar, three tapered finger spars and a scalloped trailing rib make a frame of about 9 cm³ that you can cover with fabric or foil.
