DIP IC Lead Straightener Block
A 110 x 44 x 10 mm bench block with two open-ended straightening channels. Press a new DIP chip into one of the 45° lead-in grooves and its splayed legs get pushed back to parallel, so it drops straight into a socket or breadboard. The narrow channel is 8.0 mm wide for 300-mil (7.62 mm row) DIP-8 to DIP-28, the wide channel is 15.6 mm for 600-mil (15.24 mm row) DIP-24 to DIP-40, and a centre thumb notch helps you lift the chip back out.
