Edge Dowel Jig For 3/4 in Stock
This is an L-shaped doweling jig for drilling the edge of 3/4 in (19 mm) boards. A 30 mm fence hooks over the board face and an end stop butts against the board end. That puts 8.3 mm guide bores for 8 mm dowels and 6.3 mm bores for 6 mm dowels 9.5 mm in from the face, centred on the edge. The bores sit 25–89 mm from the end on 16 mm steps, so matching holes line up on both mating boards without marking out.
