Joist J-Hook For 3/4 in EMT Rail
This hanger screws flat to the side of an exposed ceiling joist and holds a 3/4 in EMT conduit tube (23.4 mm OD, 24.2 mm seat) in a drop-in J-hook about 70 mm below the joist. Mount one on every joist to run cheap conduit rails for overhead garage storage. It prints flat, so the tube's weight pulls in the plane of the layers, and the three 5.5 mm holes take #10 washer-head screws loaded in shear. A pair of zip-tie holes lets you strap the tube in so it can't lift out.
