Mid-Span Sagging Shelf Truss Bracket

This truss bracket screws to a stud under the middle of a sagging closet or pantry shelf and lifts the sagging span. The wall leg is 126 mm tall and the arm is 150 mm deep. Two 4.6 mm holes in the wall leg take #8 (4.2 mm) wood screws, and two 4.0 mm holes in the arm take #6 (3.5 mm) screws up into the shelf. A 9 mm bore through the diagonal brace gives a driver a straight path to the upper wall screw. The part prints flat on its side, so the shelf load runs along the layers instead of across them.
