No-Drill Hanging File Rail Bracket
A hook-over saddle bracket (57 x 34 x 20 mm) that converts any plain desk or dresser drawer into a hanging file drawer with no drilling: it drops over the drawer side wall (5-20 mm thick, clamped by one M4 x 25 self-tapping screw from the outside) and carries an 8 mm smooth rod through an 8.3 mm slip-fit bore. The rod sits 17 mm inboard of the drawer wall and 9 mm below the rim, so letter/A4 folder hooks clear everything; use four brackets and two rods cut to the drawer's inside depth for a full file drawer.
