Pasta Drying Rack Hub For 8 mm Dowels
A six-arm top hub for a homemade pasta drying rack. It drops onto the end of a 3/4 in schedule 40 PVC mast (26.7 mm OD, 27.0 mm blind socket) and holds six 8 mm wooden dowels in 8.3 mm sockets, 28 mm deep. With 250 mm dowels you get a rack about 600 mm across. The hub is 92 mm across and 40 mm tall, and the socket roof is a 45° cone, so it prints without supports.
