Patio Umbrella Rib V-Jaw Splint
A two-jaw bolted splint that bridges a snapped market-umbrella rib so you don't scrap the frame: two 100 x 42 x 10 mm jaws each carry a 90 degree V-groove 13 mm wide, so opposing V's self-centre round fibreglass ribs from 10 to 18 mm or square-cornered aluminium ribs up to about 12 x 20 mm without drilling the rib. Six M5 x 40 bolts (5.5 mm clearance holes on a 72 x 29 mm pattern) pinch the jaws together, with M5 nuts captured in 4 mm deep hex pockets under one jaw; the jaws print side by side joined by three snap-off tabs.
