Rack And Pinion Linear Drive Block
A print-in-place module-2 rack and pinion linear drive: a 150 mm toothed rack slides through a 60 x 54 mm housing while a 16-tooth pinion (32 mm pitch dia, 100 mm of travel per turn) turns on a 5.3 mm bore for any 5 mm motor or gearmotor shaft, locked with an M3 screw into a captured M3 nut in the top collar. The housing bolts down through four M4 clearance holes and the rack carries two pairs of M3 heat-set bores on top for your carriage — a cheap linear actuator for gate, hoist, feeder and camera-slider builds where a leadscrew is too slow.
