Round Tube Gate Latch Adapter Saddle
A V-saddle that clamps onto a round metal or PVC gate tube from 19 to 45 mm OD, including 3/4 in EMT (23.4 mm), 1 in PVC (33.4 mm), 1-3/8 in (34.9 mm) and 1-5/8 in (41.3 mm) chain-link frame tube. It's held with two 1/2 in worm-drive hose clamps threaded through built-in band tunnels, and gives you a flat 56 x 64 mm face you can screw a wood-gate drop or slide latch onto. That way the latch doesn't need a flat wooden rail. Mount the latch between the two bands with screws up to 16 mm long, or no longer than 10 mm on the side wings.
