SCARA Base With Shoulder Tower
This is the foundation of the 'NEMA17 Belt-Drive SCARA Drawing Arm' kit. It is a 150 x 110 x 5 mm windowed plate with a raised rim and a 26 mm OD shoulder tower, 60 mm tall, braced by four 40 mm gussets. The tower takes a 100 mm long 8 mm steel rod in a blind 8.3 mm bore, locked by an M3 set screw with a captured nut. A thrust ring (OD 11) carries the 608 inner race. The plate has four M3 heat-set inserts on a 40 x 40 square for the shoulder motor bracket and four 4.5 mm holes for M4 screws into the table.
