Self-Centering Hinge Screw Drill Guide
A three-station replacement for a Vix-style self-centering bit set: drop a cone into the countersunk screw hole of a hinge leaf, drawer slide or strike plate and the 20 mm-long bore guides your pilot bit dead on centre, so screws pull the hardware where you set it instead of drifting. Cones suit countersinks from about 7 to 19 mm, bores are 2.9 / 3.4 / 4.5 mm for 2.5, 3 and 4 mm bits (1, 2 and 3 engraved dots mark the size), and the whole bar is 96 x 26 x 18 mm with scalloped finger grips.
