Sheet Metal Hand Folding Bar
A hand folding bar for putting clean flanges and hems in thin sheet: clamp the work in a vise with the bend line at the jaw, drop the bar over the protruding edge and lift the U-handle. The 126 mm bar carries two full-length slots — 2.4 mm wide x 12 mm deep for 0.5-2 mm aluminium flashing, brass or copper, and 4.2 mm wide x 10 mm deep for HDPE/PP sheet and soft aluminium strip — both with flared 18-degree entries so the sheet finds the slot one-handed. Slots sit on one side of the bar, leaving a 10.7 mm solid spine that takes the handle torque; overall 126 x 70 x 16 mm with 45-degree gussets at the arm roots.
