Shop Vac Hose Bolted Clamshell Splice
Bolt-together half-shell (print two) for repairing a cracked 2-1/2 in shop-vac hose. Cut out the damaged section, butt the two ends together and clamp them inside a 90 mm long sleeve. The bore has eight 45° buttress ribs that bite into the hose corrugations: 59 mm at the rib tips and 63 mm at the root. Each half's split face is shaved back 1.5 mm, giving 3 mm of squeeze when you tighten three M5 x 25 bolts into captured-nut pockets. It suits corrugated hose with a crest OD of roughly 60–63 mm, so measure your hose before printing.
