Shower Niche 1/2 in PVC Rail Shelf End
This is one of two end frames that stand inside a tiled shower niche. Cut four pieces of 1/2 in schedule-40 PVC (21.3 mm OD) to the niche width minus 10 mm and push them into the frames' 21.9 mm blind sockets. That gives you a second shelf tier 133 mm above the niche floor without drilling the tile or paying for custom glass. Each frame is 80 mm deep, 140 mm tall and 25 mm thick and holds rails at 50 mm centres. Because the frame is printed flat, the weight of the bottles runs through the plane of each layer instead of pulling the layers apart.
