Single-Gang Flanged Box Extender Ring
A flanged extender sleeve for a single-gang device box that ended up sitting too deep behind new tile or drywall. It adds 16 mm of depth. A 2.5 mm flange (64 x 100 mm) rests on the finished wall under a standard 70 x 114 mm cover plate. Two full-depth screw columns have 4 mm stadium slots. They pass the long 6-32 device screws (about 3.5 mm) at any centre spacing from 77 to 89 mm, which covers the common 83.3 mm (3-9/32 in) box-ear spacing. The inner 48 x 70 mm liner keeps wires away from the raw edge of the wall cut-out.
