Slider Idler Fork End Block
The far end block of the 'NEMA17 Belt-Drive Camera Slider' kit. The 45 x 84 x 40 mm block holds two 8 mm smooth rods 60 mm apart in 25 mm deep blind sockets. Each rod is locked by an M3 heat-set insert and an M3x8 pinch screw. A 36 x 13.5 mm fork slot houses the 34 mm flanged twin-625 idler drum on a vertical M5x35 axle, with the nut held in a pocket underneath. It prints lying on its outboard face with no supports, and it weighs about 80 cm³ after lightening pockets.
