Snap-On Kitchen Knife Edge Guard
A slip-on edge guard for kitchen knives with blades up to 165 mm (6.5 in: santoku, utility and small chef's knives) and up to about 2.8 mm thick. It stops loose knives dulling their edges and cutting fingers in a drawer. The 3 mm slot is 25 mm deep, and staggered 0.6 mm grip ribs hold the blade in place. There's a flared mouth at the top, a closed tip end, and a row of drain holes in the floor so a damp blade can dry.
