Stepped Wire Strip Length Gauge
A bench gauge with eight stepped lanes (5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 20 mm). Push the wire into a lane until it bottoms out, close the stripper flush on the face, and you get that exact strip length every time, so Powerpole, Dupont and ferrule crimps come out consistent. Each lane has a 4.2 mm bore that takes roughly 20–14 AWG insulation (up to about 4 mm OD) and a 2.4 mm bore for 26–22 AWG hookup wire (up to about 2.2 mm OD). The block is 104 x 26 mm, and each lane's height shows its depth.
