Tensegrity Swivel Node For 8 mm Rod
This print-in-place end cap goes on an 8 mm strut rod in a tensegrity robot or structure. The rod sits in a blind 8.3 mm socket and an M3 set screw (2.6 mm self-tap hole) locks it. A captured swivel ring carries four cable eyelets (3.4 mm holes) and spins freely on the cap, so the cables line up with their own pull. This replaces improvised screw eyes and hand-tied loops. The part is 50 mm across and 35 mm tall.
