Twin-Comb Cake Layer Torte Guide
This standing comb post has 45°-gusseted shelves that hold a bread knife flat while you saw a cake into even layers. One face has shelves at 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 mm and the other at 22.5, 37.5, 52.5 and 67.5 mm, so you turn the post around to get 7.5 mm steps. Order two and stand one on each side of the cake. Each post is 80 mm tall on a 56 x 40 mm foot, the shelves are 24 mm deep, and the 3.5 mm slot fits blades up to about 3 mm thick.
