Wall Slot Knife Rack With Steel Port
A 170 x 66 mm wall ledge that holds knives in drop-through slots: two 5 x 46 mm slots for chef's and bread knives, two 4 x 40 mm slots for utility knives, a 3.5 x 30 mm slot for a paring knife, and a 16 mm port for a honing steel. The slots are 27 mm apart so the handles don't knock into each other. It hangs from two 5.5 mm holes that fit #8 or #10 wood screws. A full-length 45° fillet and gussets at both ends carry the load into the 40 mm back plate. Mount it on a cabinet side or backsplash high enough that the blade tips clear the counter.
