Zip-Tie Fender Stay Bridge Bar
A replacement mid-span fender bridge for bikes that never had one or whose plastic clip broke. It is a 134 mm bar with a 90° V-saddle at each end, and each saddle takes seat stays or fork blades from about 8 to 20 mm across. The stays spread apart as they run down, so you slide the bar along them until it fits and then fix it with four zip ties, which pass through 5 × 2.6 mm tunnels. The fender hangs from a central 5.5 mm M5 clearance hole, and a hex pocket (8.4 mm across flats, 4 mm deep) holds the M5 nut captive.
