ESP32 Dev Board Snap Cradle
A 72 x 46 mm mounting plate with two 14 mm tall cantilever spring rails that snap over the long edges of any 18-30 mm wide dev board (ESP32 DevKitC, NodeMCU, Nano-class) — no mounting holes needed on the board, which is the whole problem with these modules. Rails start at a 20 mm gap and flex outward, the board lands on shelves 5 mm above the plate so soldered header pins clear, a backstop stops it sliding out, and the plate carries 4x M4 clearance wall holes, 2x M5 clearance holes on 20 mm centres for 2020 T-nuts, and a pair of zip-tie slots for USB cable strain relief.
