35 mm Euro Hinge Cup Boring Guide
A fence-located drill guide for boring 35 mm concealed (Euro) hinge cups. Hook the 12 mm fence over the door edge and it holds a 35 mm Forstner bit 22.5 mm from the edge, which gives the standard 5 mm edge distance. A 10 mm deep guide bore keeps the bit straight, and two 3.4 mm awl/pilot holes mark the common 45 mm × 9.5 mm screw pattern. Sight notches in the fence and on the far edge line up with your pencil mark, so you don't have to buy a $40 hinge jig for one kitchen refit.
