Cabinet Door Reveal And Overlay Setting Gauge
A handheld gauge for hanging cabinet doors. It has three tongues that are exactly 2, 3 and 4 mm thick (marked with 2, 3 and 4 dots) to set the gap between neighbouring doors, plus a step at each end. Hold a step's shoulder against the face-frame opening and the door edge stops at a standard 1/2 in (12.7 mm) or 3/8 in (9.5 mm) overlay. It measures 90 x 52 x 12 mm, has a hang hole, and replaces a fistful of loose shims.
