4 mm Rod Desk Memo Spike Dish
An 80 mm memo and receipt spike for your desk. A 4 mm steel rod (a hinge pin or round stock cut to about 100 mm) sits in a 4.3 mm blind socket inside a 32 mm tall boss, and an M3 set screw self-taps sideways to lock it. The base is a dished tray that also holds paperclips and pins. You get a spike with a rod you can replace, so there's no wobbly glued-in nail.
