ATX 24-Pin PS_ON Bench Test Key
A safer version of the paperclip trick for starting a PC power supply on the bench. Bend a 0.8–1 mm paperclip or wire into a U, push it into this 54 x 16 x 10 mm key and seal the groove with hot glue. The two legs sit 4.2 mm apart (Molex Mini-Fit Jr pin pitch), so they reach PS_ON (pin 16, green) and the COM pin next to it (pin 17). Check which pins your connector uses before you plug it in. The green grip covers the wire bridge so it can't short against the case, and a 4 mm lanyard hole lets you keep it tethered to the PSU.
