Bath Fan Housing Offset Joist Tab
A gusseted Z-offset mounting tab for when a bath exhaust fan housing's sheet-metal tabs are bent, missing or don't reach the joist. It is 80 x 40 mm with 4 mm flanges and bridges a 16 mm housing-to-joist gap (the GAP parameter changes this). Two 4.5 mm slots give 12 mm of height adjustment and take M4 bolts or #8 sheet-metal screws through the housing wall. Two 5.5 mm holes take #8–#10 wood screws into the joist.
