1 in Towel Bar Tapered Spring-End Cap
This is a replacement end cap for 1 in (25.4 mm) round towel bars that spring into ceramic or tile wall posts. Six crush ribs inside the 26 mm socket grip bars from about 24.6 to 25.6 mm. A tapered nose (13 to 21 mm) centres itself in round post sockets of roughly 15–21 mm, and a 9 mm by 14 mm well holds a compression spring up to about 8.5 mm OD. It replaces the cracked plastic bushing so you don't have to buy a whole replacement bar kit. The part is 31 mm across and 47 mm tall.
