Desk-To-Wall Standoff Cable Trough
This part screws under the back edge of a desk with two #8 wood screws (4.2 mm shank, through 4.8 mm slots with 22 mm of travel). Its 6 mm-wide bumper keeps the desk about 40 mm off the wall, so the desk can't slide back, crush plugs or scuff the paint. Between the desk and the wall it forms a 28 x 23 mm cable trough with a 12 mm snap-in opening that runs the length of the desk.
